The Session

The Session is a weekly music event featuring NC based musicians playing music within the funk, jazz, and soul traditions. Each week a house set is presented by a rotating cast of nationally and internationally recognized musicians, followed by a jam session with locally based up and coming instrumentalists and singers. Members of the house band have included Sam Fribush, Chuck Pinckney, Charlie Hunter, Will Darity, Chaisaray Schenck, Jimmy Washington, Kurt Stacener, Charlie Garnett, and many others.
